Amboyna Burl is an exotic wood that comes from the Narra tree or Burma Padauk tree, which both grow in Southeast Asia. It's name derives from Ambon Island in Indonesia. Amboyna Burl is a highly sought after burl species and is commonly used for highly decorative turnings, guitars, knife/gun grips and inlays.
These rings are made to order. Your ring will look similar to, but not exactly like the ring pictured.
All rings are comfort fit. Please get professionally sized at a jeweler before purchasing. These rings are NOT re-sizable!
Keep in mind when deciding on ring width that wider rings fit more tightly! Ring profile can be either Flat + Bevel, Rounded, or Semi-Rounded. Please see ring profile photo for reference. Keep in mind that most metals are not scratch proof. My rings are tough, but avoid handling solvents while wearing. The finish used is waterproof, and is similar to a hardhat in hardness. If your ring gets scratched over time, ship it back and I will polish it up. I will always polish any resin scratches for free. Resin replacement is always free. Resin can be polished at home with mineral oil or beeswax.
Titanium, surgical steel, and cobalt-chrome are ALL hypoallergenic. Cobalt is best for scratches and is heaviest. Titanium is lightest.
