The ring design is made up of several varying pieces of Fordite.

Fordite, also known as Detroit/Motor City Agate, is old automotive hardened paint which is then cut and polished. It is formed by buildup of paint layers on a factory floor which are then reused in jewelry. Most of the Fordite in this ring will be Corvette Fordite. This is a recycled material that is quickly running out, I will provide it as long as it is reasonably priced and available! Your ring will look similar to but not exactly like the one pictured.

This ring is currently ONLY available in Tungsten Carbide, and with a flat profile. Tungsten Carbide is hypoallergenic and is virtually impossible to scratch with anything less than a diamond. The resin area of the ring still needs to be taken care of though.

While tungsten carbide is incredibly difficult to scratch, it may take minor scratches when scuffed against things like sandpaper or diamond abrasives. The resin used is also waterproof, and is similar to a hardhat in hardness. My rings are tough, but avoid handling solvents while wearing. If the resin layer gets scratched over time, ship it back and I will polish it up, I will always polish any resin scratches for free. Resin replacement is always free. Resin can be polished at home with mineral oil or beeswax.

This ring is only avilable in the Flat + Bevel profile.
 
This ring is only available in 8mm width! The black ceramic core has a thick profile that is not adjustable.
