While tungsten carbide is incredibly difficult to scratch, it may take minor scratches when scuffed against things like sandpaper or diamond abrasives. The resin used is also waterproof, and is similar to a hardhat in hardness. My rings are tough, but avoid handling solvents while wearing. If the resin layer gets scratched over time, ship it back and I will polish it up, I will always polish any resin scratches for free. Resin replacement is always free. Resin can be polished at home with mineral oil or beeswax.
 
These rings are made to order. Your ring will look similar to, but not exactly like the ring pictured.
